CANCELLATION POLICY

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa's scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service.

BODY WRAPS

What will I do during my visit?

First, you will be weighed and measured. Most clients choose an active wrap where you will be wrapped in 6” wide latex-free elastic bandages that have been soaking in the warm mineral solution. We will start at your feet and work up the body until everything is covered except your face. You will remain in the wrap for 1 hour during which time we recommend that you stay active doing light exercise. We have some equipment that you

can use and also entertainment to help pass the time. After 1 hour, you will be unwrapped, re- weighed and re-measured to determine your results.

How will I look?

The Electrolyte mineral body wraps visually tone and tighten the skin overall, reduces cellulite, and produces a more sculptured and slender appearance. Women can expect to lose 6” – 20” and men can expect to lose 4 – 15” with their first wrap. We always take into consideration that each person is different and may have specific goals in mind. We use wrap techniques to help you achieve your personal goals.

Are there any medical considerations?

There are no specific conditions that are listed as strict contraindications for getting a wrap; however, common sense dictates. If you are on medication or have any physical problems, you should consult your physician.

Will I lose weight with the wraps?

A slimmer appearance, not pounds, is what the Suddenly Slender electrolyte-mineral body wraps are designed for. Any weight you lose is a bonus!

Mineral Body Wraps

What is the Body Wrap process?

The Active Wrap Process:

First, you will be weighed and measured; then wrapped in 6” wide latex-free elastic bandages that have been soaking in the warm mineral solution. We will start at your feet and work up the body until everything is covered except your face. Part of the body wrap process involves wrapping the head (optional). The same visual slimming process that helps your entire body also helps under your chin, the sides of your face and your forehead. You remain wrapped for 1 hour during which time you remain active. We have some equipment to make activity easier and entertainment to help pass the time. When unwrapped, you are re- weighed and re-measured to

determine your results. Skin appears smoother and tighter after the wrap. We have special solutions for patrons needing extra skin tightening after weight loss, pregnancy or for reducing the signs of aging. The Passive Wrap Process:

We have a specially formulated body wrap solution designed for the patron who is unable to remain standing for 90 minutes or one who desires a more pampering, day-spa like experience. You are cocooned in a soft thin blanket amerced in our dream body lay down wrap solution. After 1 hour, you are reweighed and re-measured to determine your results.

What do I need to wear?

Women are wrapped in bra and panties. (Yes, a bra is mandatory.) For best results we recommend 100% cotton, and the bra should not have an underwire. Men may wear swim trunks or brief or long- legged brief underwear covered with a pair of boxers over them, but again we also suggest cotton fabric. The undergarments you’re wrapped in will be thoroughly wet when done, so you should bring an extra pair to change into after your wrap. You may want to bring a pair of flip-flops but this is not a requirement.

How should I prepare for the wrap?

• Do not apply oils or lotions to your skin after you bathe or shower the morning of your wrap so as not to clog the pores of your skin which will inhibit the absorption of the minerals.

• If you have scheduled a morning appointment, be sure to eat breakfast before your wrap. Your body will need energy during your session.

• You will not be able to use the restroom for approximately 90 minutes so do not eat a heavy meal or drink excessively immediately before your wrap appointment.

• Increased water intake and a good mineral supplement for several days prior to your wrap help to achieve good results.

• Women should not be on their monthly cycle.
• Your first time, expect to be in the shop 2 to 2-1/2 hours.

Are the wraps painful? No. The wraps aren’t painful. However, some people report feeling cool. We apply warm solution 2-3 times during your wrap to warm you up.

Will I be able to rest while wrapped? We recommend that you stay up and active for the duration of the wrap(stand up wraps only). This helps increase circulation. The activity we recommend is not strenuous; rather, just staying up and moving around is usually all that is needed to get the full benefits of the wraps.
